Creating Your File
Store copies outside ADP — personal cloud drive (Google Drive, iCloud) or email to yourself. Your spouse/partner should also have access in case you cannot log in.

Verification Steps
Verify Doctor's License
Before you need it:
- Go to mbc.ca.gov/breeze
- Search for your doctor's name
- Confirm license is active
- Save the license number
EDD takes 7-10 business days to verify doctor licenses. If there's any issue with the license, it can delay your claim significantly.
Verify EDD Has Your Records
- Create an account at edd.ca.gov
- Check your wage history — confirm FedEx reported wages for each quarter of your expected base period
- If a quarter shows zero or an obviously wrong amount, contact Jennifer Crisp (FedEx Senior Benefits Advisor — see Contacts) before filing; she handles EDD pay-verification corrections
Verify the Current Claims Administrator
The plan document names The Hartford, but Aetna now administers some claims. Call the FedEx Benefits Service Center (1-855-545-4748) to confirm which administrator handles your claim before you need to file.
Monthly Maintenance
Set a monthly reminder to:
- Screenshot sick bank balance (hours) in VIPS
- Screenshot DSA balance (hours) in VIPS
- Download new pay stubs via ADP
